  3. I have been charged extra as a cancellation fee when the driver had cancelled the trip. Even after I have reported regarding this I am still asked to pay extra in my next trip, due to which I am not able to book my next ride and I am definitely not willing to pay for a cancellation that I had not made when I was waiting for the cabs arrival , also had a conversation with the driver and had been asked to wait.

I too have the same experience.Booked a Uber cab for Bangalore city rly stn .l waited for more than half an hour . during this time Driver telling me coming shortly coming with in ten minutes.finally he said I am at m g Rd .u cancelled finally he did not turn up.since l was trying to book another cab l had to cancelled.they charged RS 52.this happened in 9-2-17.since then l am using ola cab.& I did not pay that cancellation charges.       I do have all the drivers contact details who all canceled my trip after waiting for a long time like almost 2hours. If I try to book another cab u guys will charge from me very easily.
      All of them who are explaining their problems in this site, r ur customers. And u guys r not even sending any reply, wats the problem with u guys.

  6. I had booked uber from Sobha city to go to Purva Venezia in yelahanka. After waiting for 20 minutes, I called the driver. He said I made advance booking and hence he is with another passenger. He will drop him and then he will see the map and come. I have no idea what he meant by advance booking. I made an ordinary booking. Very poor service. Wish many services come up for competition and this unprofessional acts stops.

  7. Unprofessional, useless, rude, uber driver . Declined to provide service because i had luggages. He told me that he would not put the luggage qs he had a new vehicle, when i tried to confront him saying, i m late already and need to be somewhere important, he told me its not his problem n he will not be providing service. I booked a bloody uberx only because a sedan will provided only to be declined by the uber driver . If Uber as a company cannot take action against these behavioural issues , then i am afraid uber as a service provider have failed at the most important aspect of a service providing company.
    Uber as a company need to take action against such drivers. I request the same.

Some of the drivers does not have courtesy to speak properly, in turn one of the driver abused me on phone when I told him to cancel the trip if he is not able to come and pick me up from my point. I want stringent action to be taken against that driver or else I will have to move to the court of law for defamation charges on both UBER as well as the driver.   15. I booked Uber at 8.50 this morning and received the message that Manjunath (mob. 97435 41449) driving a Toyota Eitos my driver for the ride was 10 minutes away. I called him, he asked me to go to the Uber zone. I collected the luggage, enquired about the Uber zone, and when I was almost there, he called me again at 9.03. There was no network on my phone, but before that I saw I would have to pay 703 rupees to go to Kolimi Heights.
    Manjunath made me pay Rs. 125 at the toll. It was only later that I saw the message that I should not pay toll which was included in the fare. Upon arrival at the destination, I paid him Rs. 835 for the ride.

    Later I received a message on my phone that Manjunath cancelled the ride and I would have to pay Rs. 43. I don't understand what happened. I want a receipt for the fare I paid, and the refund of the toll money. Scandalous to find there's no telephone number. Why should I pay anything at all if the driver cancels a ride?

  28. Surprized to note that I can not contact/speak to the UBER customer service for any issue faced / to provide a feedback. Also contacts/ emails provided do not really help the person since those are all automated answers for your call or email saying "this does not have a valid no" or sorry we do not have incoming email facility...I left the phone in the car and just after 5 mins of my rid I called back the driver but the phone was diverting to UBER office and that is again automated voice and no use.. I click on website for lost item and again gets a automated phone call by after sometime says invalid no and get disconnected...This is a new thing I learned and asking myself Is this UBER service safe, reliable, good customer service ??

  29. I booked a uber from Kempegowda international airport Bangalore to sri Sai comforts Doddakallasandra.i got the fare as rs 823/ to my destination which was including toll. But driver Venkatesh collected the toll of RS 125 in addition to the fare. This is not justified. Please refund the toll fee and restore my confidence in uber.

  35. I booked the cab in Bangalore for Airport for 3am. The driver calls before pick-up asking for extra money for return toll. I asked him to cancel the trip for which is was rude and telling at I don't care of for your taxi business. I also didn't cancel the trip and for which I have to pay the cancellation charges. The uber doen't have any proper customer care number to report. I think such company and their behavior should not be tolerated. Company should fire the such driver from business or else company should plan to exit out of here.

  37. I am unable to book the uber on my jio. Since one of your driver cancelled the trip a few weeks back it is asking me to pay an arrears of 157/= from my side when i try to book a vechile. The fault is from your driver side and why i am being harassed. Is this the way you people deal with the customers. Is there an end to this. If you think i am arrogant i do.     Today morning at 8.00 am I hired Uber GO vehicle driven by Sri.Chandru . From Brigade Metropolis, Mahadevapura, Bangalore at 08.20 am he dropped me at the destination Vydehi Hospital, Whitefield Bangalore at .0.8.33 am and I paid Rs.110/- against a demand of Rs.107.10. I am surprised to find your mail informing "Your driver reported that you didn’t pay the full amount. ₹ 107.18 will be due on your next trip "

    I contacted the/Driver Sri.Cbandru and he confirmed receipt of the amount. Kindly note your statement is is not based on facts and is malicious. Please take necessary steps to make corrections in your records and confirm.

    I booked a cab on 23.11.17 at 11:25 AM from 3rd cross street as pool to reach Kalyani tech park, BANGALORE which is just 2kms from my home. The total pay showed for me is rs:29 , the estimated time is 11:35AM , but the driver told that I am in second drop, he moved far away from my point which is very closer to my pick up point and he dropped me by 12:36 PM , by charging rs:71 .. very worst experience in my life. please refund my amount

  54. i book 6th dec17 morning 10am srinivasa scanning center droped 11.am uber cab driver keep my mobile on seat and i forgot at that time.. after 30min i call driver he said mobile with me i give u return on 6th dec 17 and he called early morning 7.30 am gopalan residency.. and he return back my mobile and ask 500 rs for that and i give 100 rs for that and he remove memory card in the mobile..32gb card when i ask about memory card he said u want new one i buy u... but my memory card not returned plz uber custmer care help for returning my memory card... driver number 7406778552

    I am an exserviceman aged 75 residing at 8/1, 5th Main, Ganganagar Extension, Bangalore 560032. I and my son went to visit my brother at Vignanagar.
    Today I booked a Uber cab no:xxx8391 through my friend Hemanthkumar (8095501168) from my residence to 25, 5th cross, Kuvempu Road, Vignanagar near Keggadasapura. the cab arrived around 11.15am and reached Keggadasapura Bus Stand around 12.50pm, about a km from the destination. But the taxi driver took a wrong turn and despite our requests he refused to take the correct Kuvempu Road and took us on a wrong route. As I cannot walk due to my old age I requested him to stop going on the wrong route and got down in a hurry - leaving my Canon Digital Camera in the vehicle (rear seat).
    Within a minute I realised my camera was missing and I tried to stop the cab from leaving but he went off in a hurry.
    I rang up my friend Mr Hemanth and lodged a complaint - though he tried calling the cab driver he didnt respond to our calls.
    I had to walk to my destination with great difficulty and despite our complaints to Uber Customer care the driver didnt return the calls.

    Kindly arrange to instruct the cab driver to return my camera.

I took this ride 1 month back and few days back got the message that I have not paid for the trip and yesterday they deducted the amount from my payment wallet.Moreover the driver is claiming that I haven't paid to him even though I paid some tip to him.I think ola is far more better than uber in terms of service.

  65. Earlier i thought Uber is a better option when compared with Ola drivers , but after having an experience with Uber, Ola seems a better option. The driver of the Cab took cash from me and said that his phone is not showing the payment done by Card.The money was deducted from my card as well . And moreover looks like there is no customer care no. in India. Complained abt the issue on Uber app .
    Amazed at their reply which says : You should have paid by the method you have choosen in App. We can't do anything . Please take care next time onwards

  66. i am inder and my mobile is 9757425219,i had registered uber app . after some technical problem i had to reset my mobile and resetting uber was not possible , it was asking me to change the phone number. i wrote uber support and there is no response,uber service i am also finding it hard.

  67. It is very surprising to note that while Uber service is provided in various cities of India, there is no toll free contact number available. Please note that they are not providing a all customer satisfying service.
    On 7th Jan I was to go to airport to catch a flight. I tried to book an Uber. The driver after knowing that he has to drive me to airport, he cancelled the trip and my money was deducted from my Paytm wallet. It was the same experience with the second fellow also. Again my money got deducted from my Paytm wallet. Now as if they are doing a favour, only one cancellation fee has been refunded. What about the second trip cancelled by the driver?
    It is therefore very important to have a contact number available to all customers so that the complaint can be lodged immediately. Hope necessary action will be initiated by the Uber company.

Today I ride with uber pool and while booking it was shown 69 for 10 km...once I get down in my place..it was shown the amount of 781...I was shocked and explained the driver there was some issue in app..I asked him to contact the customer care..he called customer and they responded to him stating collect the amount how much charge is showing..driver was very rude and he didn't leave me until I pay the total amount... I tried calling customer care but there is no correct number in google and there correct information to contact customer care....worst service I have seen until now...

  70. He is the spoiler of the day from UBER. Don't ever prefer this cab for your drive.
    I had scheduled a travel to KIAL(Bangalore Airport) in the early morning around 4 and he has arrived.I have configured Uber to make my payment through Card for easing the payment while booking. When i dialled he said that he is need of payment only in the form of cash and he said the reason that the vehicle is running out of fuel. After thinking about the situation i have also agreed as the time was running out. Finally when i have got in to the vehicle the payment mode was unable to get changed as it was already configured for card payment and he has forced me to cancel the trip from UBER app after just reaching 20 meters from the starting point. Now UBER have charged me 220 Rs for not even moving out of the source.
    Now he said that he can drop me if i pay 1200 + parking fee of 150 (which is not necessory for passengers. That's for his luxury. (Typical bill amount would be around 800 Rs only). And also he said that he is operating a Travel company from which this cab is associated with UBER. The time was keep running out and i was unable to stop him and asked him to move on. Later on only i noticed the Fuel meter, it was 1/2 the Tank already. So literally the vehicle has sufficent amount of Diesel to go for around 250 KM.After some time of the travel only i came to know that it is a total TRAP.Now he started saying that he didn't even had lunch and he is need of money to have something and i said that i can give the bill amount only after reaching the destination. For that he has replied that, Sir you should believe people.After few KM he found a shop and asked me money for atleast biscuts and i paid him 100 Rs.He has stopped the vehicle and went to the shop and when he returned i saw a 5 Rs Biscuts and a pack of seceretts. Now when i asked he said that, inside airport he may not get seceretts.Finally i reached the destination and it was a relief from a cunning fellow.Now i paid him the money and asked for the bill.Now he gave a shock that he can't give any bill. And when i asked him that is important for me to claim the travel in my office and he said he can mail me. Then i have sent my mail ID and other travel details to him to send the bill to me. And today it is a third day and i made him almost 25 calls and i am yet to receive. For sure i will not receive. But i am not going to leave him. On making calls to him in last three days i understood that he is operating only on nigts to TRAP easily. and during day time he takes rest.
    People should be very careful with these kind of drivers as i felt it was not safe. In case of a women traveler then we can't imagin what he may do.

  71. The worst service , I ve ever faced in my entire life. I booked a cab for my mom. Ist of all the Uber Driver was so rude Nd the bill came for me,was Rs. 509 Nd he overcharged from my Mom Nd she paid Rs.709. So, disgusting it is.

  73. UBER as a company doesn't have a commence. They do not have toll free number for India to address the problem of Customer. Bledy what type of service is this. Concerned department of indian government should look in to it and take necessary action. It's a worst service by UBER better we take Auto or some local taxi. Unneccessory they change the route map on the trip and they charge more to passengers. They include toll also to our Bill. Drivers are worst, they cancel the trips after the booking. But no action against them and they taken cancellation fee also from me. They are looting the money. I have raised the compliant but I got readymade answers two time. Problem not solved. After that I stopped to use uber5

I tried 4 times to book a cab using UBER app all 4 times it failed and showed status failed in app. stopped wasting time in UBER arranged by own and traveled. next day UBER app showing cancellation fee of Rs:50. this is not fare part.UBER is showing some thing and back end they are charging for failed booking also. trey are not able to understand probem what went wrong hear. they are chanting always that driver waited for 5min. not answering my quesions. how come driver is waiting for booking failed status? why driver not called? why not shared driver details to me?

My driver stopped d multiple times in d trip.wanted to take passengers in d trip although it was not a share trip.dropped 100m far away from d trip.when asked used fowl languages..is dis d proffesionalism of Uber drivers.wht if a female was deer.dis r d people who rape female passengers plz take a serious note of it.else u will land in legal trouble.

If this kind of driver "UTPAL - Cab no: KA51C8733 Bangalore location" be in uber service then we people should stop taking uber service. The driver is so daring he is using abusive slangs though I have given correct location he went to some other place and he is using abusive comments. Please people be aware while using Uber service such kind of divers can be a threat specially to ladies. And I am expecting some response from Uber people.
